We had some really sad news first thing when my best windsurfing mate who
we have known for 45 years passed away so I headed over to Levington for a
windsurf foil in memory of Neil who was in my thoughts on every run! High
tide was around ten so I arrived at the marina at 9.30 and there looked
enough for my 5.75 again and it proved nearly perfect and I was on the
water over two hours covering a years best 30 miles! It was a gloomy day
but the rain arrived when I had called it a day! With the wind SW I was
able to do two mile runs from the corner down towards Pin Mill flying for
most of the session just me out on the water with the odd boat and a
coaster heading to Ipswich. I improved my hour and got a few OK gybes, SW
is a top direction here and I have to do it all again tomorrow with a
little less wind forecast but hopefully mild and sunny! I packed up,
showered and was home by 1.30, Mag had once again been in the garden all
morning, we then had to do a big shop at Lidl before returning home to
enjoy our free pizza with a cuppa!
March is a good month for cover pics with seven in local magazines:)
